March of Dimes Get $1million+ from Circle K stores to support its mission to help babies

March of Dimes Indiana Chapter announces today that the Midwest and Great Lakes Divisions of Circle K Stores helped raise $1,193,632 in the annual March of Dimes Pick-A-Pumpkin campaign during October.

This is the 18th year for the partnership with the March of Dimes. “The Pick-A-Pumpkin Campaign for March of Dimes has become a cultural event for our organization…it just gets stronger and stronger support every year. It’s an important part of how we serve and support the local communities where we operate,” said Mark Novak Director of Human Resources for Circle K Stores. “With 1 in 8 babies born prematurely, we know that many of our associates have been helped by March of Dimes. They’ve shared their stories with us. We know our customers understand that the work of the March of Dimes is important. Our motivation is to always remember that the money raised goes to help all babies by funding March of Dimes programs to prevent preterm birth, birth defects and infant mortality in the communities where our associates and customers live and work.”

“The Indiana Chapter of March of Dimes is thankful for our continued partnership with Circle K stores,” said Tim Arndt, March of Dimes. “Their employees are champions for the tiniest and most vulnerable. Every day babies are born struggling to survive and every day the March of Dimes and Circle K are helping them win.”

The March of Dimes is the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. With chapters nationwide, the March of Dimes works to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
