The Snakes and Bees? Guest Speakers at Science Central!

Science Central will be hosting a collection of guest speakers in relation to nature and preservation this summer. On Saturday, June 25th at 12 p.m., The Southwest Honey Company will be presenting on honeybees and pollination for the “Nature of Things” traveling exhibition. Southwest Honey Co. is an initiative to protect and conserve our local bee population. The following month, on Saturday, July 30th at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., local snake expert Christopher Rex will discuss topics related to snake conservation through education and population management. Christopher has discussed “Snakes in Your Backyard” at Science Central in the past and is a part of the Portal to the Public Communication Fellowship.
