Fort Wayne Children’s Choir: Road Trip!


The Lafayette Children’s Choir of the Bach Chorale Singers is hosting the Indiana Voices in Song, a choral festival, featuring songs written by Hoosier composers. Josh Pedde, Artistic Director of the Indianapolis Children’s Choir, will be the featured clinician and conductor. The LYRIC CHOIR and WHITLEY COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S CHOIR, Fort Wayne Children’s Choir ensembles, will join local school children and singers from other Indiana children’s choirs for the Lafayette Children’s Choir event. This is an Indiana Bicentennial Legacy Project hosted by the Bach Chorale Singers, Inc.

A concert, with all participating choirs, will be held at 3:00 pm at the Faith Church, Lafayette, IN. Tickets are $5; children are free.

The mission of the Fort Wayne Children’s Choir is to provide a choral program exemplifying artistic and educational excellence for children from diverse backgrounds. The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir contributes to the community’s cultural environment by providing opportunities to experience the unique beauty of nearly 300 professionally trained young voices. The FWCC is proud to represent 88 different schools in addition to 29 home school groups from eight different northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio counties.
