The Lutheran Foundation Has Awarded $50,000 To MHANI For Operational Support

Mental Health America of Northeast Indiana (MHANI) has been awarded a grant in the amount of $50,000 by The Lutheran Foundation. The funds from this grant will be used for operational support.

This grant from The Lutheran Foundation will help support the programs we offer to the Northeast Indiana region, including our Front Door services (which include client advocacy and peer support), suicide prevention efforts, education and trainings, guardianship services, Cedars Hope, and Kids on the Block™. MHANI is proud to offer a variety of services and programs to Northeast Indiana, and through this grant, we can continue to serve community members in need.

“We are pleased to receive continued support from The Lutheran Foundation,” Lisa Smith, executive director of MHANI, commented on the grant award. “Serving community members who are facing a mental health challenge is our number one priority. Grant awards like this one help us keep it that way.”
