The Outdoor Sport Lake and Cabin Show (OSLCS) returns to the Allen County

Memorial Coliseum Jan 27-29. Presented by Subaru of Fort Wayne, this rugged show is returning to

its roots with an emphasis on outdoor living, camping, fishing, and hunting.

New to the Subaru Outdoor Sport Lake and Cabin show, and for the first time ever in Fort Wayne, is

a BoAD Micro Villa tiny house. The tiny house movement has taken the country by storm and the

only way to see the exclusive Huntsman cabin is at the Outdoor Sport Lake and Cabin show. Also

exclusively in Fort Wayne at the OSLCS is a demo from Yurts of America, as seen on HGTV, and

the newly invented origami canoe.

The Subaru Outdoor Sport Lake and Cabin Show has also added a Harley Davidson display to this

year’s lineup. One lucky winner will be selected to win a Harley Davidson of his or her own. More

details on this giveaway can be found at the information office at the Allen County Memorial

Coliseum during the show.

Other popular features of the Subaru Outdoor Sport Lake and Cabin show include the daily

Lumberjack competitions, a $20 Cabela’s coupon to all that attend, chainsaw carving, an air rifle

shooting range, Dutch oven cooking demos, personal water crafts, guns, boats, and RVs. Show

goers can plan outdoor adventures, test, browse, and shop for products from 100+ vendors relating

to hunting, fishing, motorsports, log cabin and cottage living, vacation and travel, water sports, and

hiking. The show also features the Military Lumberjack competition on Saturday as different

branches of the military compete to see who has the best lumberjack skills. New this year to the

OSLCS is an exhibition of sport and luxury cars.

For the fishing enthusiast, the OSLCS show has many amenities added to Tackle Down this year. A

Hawg Tank complete with fishing seminars and demonstrations will be available daily throughout he

show. Dan Armitage will be giving sports show seminars, fly fishing lessons are available, and there

will be a deep-sea fishing simulator. Other seminars include Tom Mesnard, a highly sought after

speaker that demonstrates the techniques needed to have consistent success in hunting.

The interactive zone at the Subary Outdoor Sport Lake and Cabin show will provide entertainment

to the entire family. The zip line is back, as well as a mechanical bull, a rock wall, the archery range,

the free lagoon kayak rides, the kids Safari Club, Grandpa Doc’s fishing hole, and the dueling

pianos.
