Special Couples Valentine Luncheon

Kingston at Dupont will host a very special luncheon on Tuesday, February 14th at 1716 E. Dupont Rd. from 12 noon-1:30 p.m.

Kingston at Dupont’s Community Relations Director, Jill Headrick, states, “The luncheon honors 8 of our residents and their very special care partner spouses. Due to their memory loss diagnoses, our residents are unable to plan a special Valentine’s Day celebration for their spouses. It is Kingston’s gift to provide a special meal and honor these couples.” The number of years of marriage range from 39 years to 67 years among the 8 honored couples, for a combined total of 444 years of marriage.

Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States and robs its victims of memories, independence, control and ultimately of their lives. Most persons with Alzheimer’s have been cared for by loved ones, often times, a partner for years prior to moving into a care residence.

Kingston at Dupont has been serving the community for the past 15 years offering a secured environment with engaging programming for those with memory impairments. Visit www.kingstonhealthcare.com.
