Fort Wayne Children’s Choir; Amber Foster Named New Fort Wayne Children’s Choir Managing Director

The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir is pleased to announce Amber Foster has been named Managing Director.

“The Fort Wayne Children’s Choir has conducted an extensive search interviewing both local and nonlocal candidates. We’re proud to have Amber Foster as part of our choir and feel very fortunate she chose to join us,” said Jonathan Busarow, Executive Artistic Director of the Fort Wayne Children’s Choir. “Her ability to work with a variety of individuals, creating a bold presence and brand, make her a great asset to our organization. Amber’s extensive knowledge in marketing and fund development, passion for excellence, and superior reputation as an ambassador for our community will elevate our impact on the greater Fort Wayne community.”

As Managing Director, Foster is charged with overseeing communications of the organization, including marketing, fund development, and branding of the FWCC. Foster will also implement a new alumni relations program to reach and serve the 5,000+ children served by the Children’s Choir. She will lead efforts to ensure both new and existing programming that will reach new audiences and has the financial support needed to flourish. On joining the Fort Wayne Children’s Choir, Foster said, “I am excited to join such a vibrant and energetic team. My aim has always been to make a positive impact on my community, and I feel that this role with the Fort Wayne Children’s Choir will allow me to do that. I have long admired the organization, and I am looking forward to digging in and helping it grow.“

Foster has an extensive career in the Fort Wayne community, serving as Executive Editor of Michiana Business Publications, Director of Development and Marketing at Cancer Services, and Executive Director of ArtLink. Foster also has a strong background in volunteering across the community with groups, such as Greater Fort Wayne, Inc., Fort Wayne Rotary, Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana, Women United, and Arts United.
