Free IPFW Day At Science Central

Thanks to the generous financial support of IPFW, admission to Science Central will be free to the public on Saturday, February 18, 2017. "IPFW Day at Science Central" will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than 40 faculty and students will be in attendance, giving hands-on demonstrations and sharing their research with the community. IPFW Sponsorship Day is a partnership between Science Central and IPFW’s Institute for Research, Scholarship, and Creative Endeavors (IRSC). One of the goals of the IRSC is to expand community understanding and appreciation of the work being done both by university faculty and their students. TagArt will also be there – face painting and mastodon balloon animals!

"We are very excited to work with IPFW to help showcase the incredible world-class research that is taking place right here in our own back yard," said Martin S. Fisher, executive director of Science Central. "The public will have the opportunity to engage with these researchers in a fun and informal way in classic interactive Science Central fashion."
