Alison Gerardot Named Director Of Philanthropic Services

The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne has named Alison Gerardot, a Fort Wayne native and community change agent, as Director of Philanthropic Services.

As the Community Foundation looks to our future as a local philanthropic leader, we seek to grow our assets and deepen our impact in the community. Through creating opportunities for philanthropic civic engagement and supporting effective philanthropy in Allen County, Alison will play a key role in advancing Foundation growth by attracting new donors as well as connecting donors with philanthropic opportunities that align with their passions.

”Alison is deeply passionate about helping donors harness the power of philanthropy to maximize their charitable impact. We are delighted to welcome her to the team and we look forward to an exciting year ahead!” said David Bennett, executive director of the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne.

Most recently, Gerardot served as the Director of Programming and Events for Riverfront Fort Wayne, and prior to that she spent five years as the Outreach Director for Fort Wayne Dance Collective. “I’m honored to have the opportunity to work with such an incredible team of philanthropists and community leaders,” said Gerardot. “It is an exciting time for the Community Foundation and the entire Fort Wayne community.”
