USF Exhibition Spotlighting SOCA Students’ Work

The University of Saint Francis will host its 41st annual SOCA (School of Creative Arts) Student Exhibition, with an opening reception on Saturday, April 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Weatherhead Gallery at the Rolland Center for Art and Visual Communication. Awards will be presented at 7:30 p.m. at the USF Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center, 431 W. Berry St.

The exhibition will run through April 30, 2017, and feature art, dance, music and performance-based works by students enrolled at SOCA. Over 500 pieces will be on display, with a variety of awards and scholarships given to outstanding students and artworks chosen by SOCA faculty.

The exhibition is free and open to the public. Weatherhead Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. The Rolland Center is off Leesburg Road on the southeast corner of the campus. The USF North Campus is at 2702 Spring Street. The galleries will be closed April 14-16 in observance of the Easter weekend.
