The Bishop Luers High School community will provide a day of service for the Fort Wayne community on Thursday, April 13. Service-learning at Bishop Luers, Sodalitas, involves all students, teachers and staff.

Throughout the school year, Sodalitas leaders met with small groups of students to provide team building as well as to design and plan a service project in the community.

Some groups will work at Catholic schools and parishes in the community to assist with projects. Others will reach out to the community serving at the Saint Anne Home, Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo, The Autism Center, St. Mary’s Soup Kitchen, Martin Luther King Montessori School and others.

Service time will take place in the morning hours and the groups return to Bishop Luers High School for a late lunch, followed by prayer and reflection.
