Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership Announces 2017 Board Elections

The Regional Opportunities Council (ROC), the investor board of the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, has elected the 2017 Slate of Directors to the Regional Partnership’s Governing Board.
The Governing Board is responsible for providing strategic leadership oversight to the Regional Partnership’s operations and fiscal matters.

The Governing Board members elected to serve from 2017-2020 are: • Brian Bauer, CEO of Lutheran Health Network;
• David Findlay, president and CEO of Lake City Bank;
• Arlan Friesen, president of Ambassador Enterprises;
• Scott Glaze, chair and CEO of Fort Wayne Metals;
• Mayor Dick Hickman with the City of Angola;
• Ryne Krock, president and CEO of the LaGrange County Economic Development Corporation; • John Lefever, retired from STAR Insurance;
• Bob Marshall, executive vice president of Campbell & Fetter Bank; and • Mike Packnett, CEO of Parkview Health.
“Northeast Indiana is led by ambitious people with positive attitudes and an abundance of ingenuity. Thanks to the dedicated leadership brought by the Regional Partnership’s board, Northeast Indiana continues to build on its recent momentum to increase business investment, grow our population and further strengthen the regional economy,” said Ray Kusisto, chair of the ROC and CEO of Ortho NorthEast. Governing Board members elected to the executive committee are: • Brian Bauer, CEO of Lutheran Health Network;
• David Findlay, president and CEO of Lake City Bank;
• Scott Glaze, chair and CEO of Fort Wayne Metals;
• Ray Kusisto, CEO of Ortho NorthEast;
• Jon Myers, president of the Whitley County Economic Development Corporation; • Mike Packnett, CEO of Parkview Health;
• John Sampson, president and CEO of the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership; • Mayor Joe Thallemer with the City of Warsaw; and
• Jeff Turner, senior vice president of Metal Technologies.

“I’m honored to continue to serve as the chairman of the Regional Partnership’s Governing Board. For 11 years, Northeast Indiana has been building a region committed to collaboration to increase business investment. We’ve infused nearly $42 million into regionally transformative projects for the Road to One Million plan and leveraged more than $250 million in investment in the region. The momentum we are experiencing is powerful and it’s our responsibility to continue to advance our region,” said Scott Glaze, chairman and CEO of Fort Wayne Metals and chairman of the Regional Partnership Board of Directors.

The Governing Board also elected the following leaders to fill vacancies on the board: • Wabash County Commissioner Barry Eppley will serve from 2015-2018;
• Jeff Gery, chief legal officer at Ash Brokerage, will serve from 2016-2019; and • Allen County Commissioner Nelson Peters will serve from 2016-2019.
