Science Central will again host Special Abilities Day on May 28, 2017 at Science Central as part of funding received from the AWS Foundation. Through the generous support of the AWS Foundation over the previous three years, Science Central has hosted Special Abilities Days dedicated to providing fun science education for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
During Special Abilities Day, guests can explore the facility and all that Science Central has to offer with over 200 exhibits. Demonstrations and activities for the day will include The Secret Life of a Bee in the Lincoln Financial Foundation Demonstration Theater, noise makers, and Hex homes and Ant homes.
