Erin’s House Common Bond Breakfast Fundraiser Success

Erin’s House for Grieving Children hosted Taya Kyle as the 2017 Common Bond Breakfast featured speaker on Tuesday, May 16th at the Allen County Memorial Coliseum. Also, the organization announced their annual volunteer Healing Hearts Volunteer Award Honorees; Roy Wilson and Celestia Will.

“As the final donations are coming in, we are pleased to share that we have raised over $115,000 towards the mission,” stated Debbie Meyer, Executive Director of Erin’s House for Grieving Children. “We can’t thank Taya enough for sharing her journey with us.”

One guest described the morning simply as “Tremendous and moving.” Another guest noted that “Taya was sincere and hit me on so many levels that were very real and well thought out.”

The proceeds from the Common Bond Breakfast enable Erin’s House to provide support services for children, teens and their families who have suffered the death of a loved one. With ongoing community support, Erin’s House can continue its programs at no cost to participants.
