USF First Doctoral Program Receives Full Accreditation

The University of Saint Francis received confirmation from the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) that the proposed Nurse Anesthesia program has received initial accreditation for the maximum allowable period of five years. The first cohort of 14 Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students starting this August is a diverse group of stellar critical care nurses from across the United States.

"Starting the first Nurse Anesthesia Program in Northeast Indiana is a great example of how faculty at USF are leading healthcare education in our region," said Dr. Mindy Yoder, dean of the USF School of Health Sciences.
