“Christmas In The Park” An Indoor/Outdoor Festival

Saturday, November 25 & Sunday, November 26 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Franke Park, 3411 Sherman Blvd., Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808 Great way to build intergenerational memories!

Activities for the Entire Family:

  • Delight in a horse-drawn wagon ride– 25th 10 am-2 pm, 26th 10 am-5 pm
  • Experience “The Christmas Journey” featuring “Fire & Light” (formerly “Audience of One”) youth theater troupe re-enactments and interacting with visitors. The walk includes a stop at the nativity–complete with live donkeys and sheep
  • Observe live camels outside the magi tent
  • Give the gift of giving:
  • Write a note to a veteran that will be delivered by a chaplain. View the tree beautifully decorated by Choice Designs to be delivered to the VA Northern Indiana Medical Center on Lake Avenue after Christmas in the Park.
  • Encourage local FIRE FIGHTERS through writing a note to be included with a gift
  • Contribute toward the postage to handpick a beautifully hand crafted little dress and write a note to send to a little girl somewhere in need around the world through Little Dresses for Africa

View wide variety of beautiful displays in the heated pavilion for easy ideas for: Craft Ideas: “Do It Together” projects that might be used for gifting Food ideas: “Bake it…Take it…Say ‘Merry Christmas’” Enjoy Refreshments: Cookies and beverages in heated pavilion View a variety of nativities and beautifully decorated Christmas trees including former entries in Embassy Festival of Trees Particularly Interesting for Children:

  • Making crafts and playing gamesAnimal Grams Petting Zoo-inside the activity tent
  • Watching the creation of animal balloons in main pavilion with opportunity to choose one to take home

Sunday, November 26th: 12:30 pm Big Blast Balloon Sculpting, 1pm Carolaires 2pm Concordia Lutheran High School Singers, 2:30pm Praise Bands 3:30pm Impromptu Choir (you have the opportunity to join in singing Christmas carols)
